Birthday and baptism: What are you thankful for?

I gave birth to my second child a year ago today.
It was a fabulous birth and as smooth as it could be, bar a few glitches.
I nearly lost my second child 9 months ago.
It was the scariest time in intensive care.

My second child Arianna got baptised at the weekend – a real celebration of life.
Marking the start of where her journey begins. So it was apt that the church we had her baptised was Wakefield’s Chantry Chapel, which originally served travelling preachers.

Today is super special for our family.
It is a day we must say thank you.
#ThankyouNHS and Thank you to our friends, family, followers and colleagues for getting us through this past year.

And this year is going to be AMAZING!

Arianna has turned 1 and will get discharged from hospital care.

Our eldest Jasmine turns 4.

And my partner Chris and I will get married.

What are you thankful for?

  • Aw! I am so thankful for the small and big things in life. I am so thankful that even though I have a stomach ache that’s horrific right now, I am still healthy… I’m happy that I have a roof over my head. I am happy I have a wonderful support system… So many things to be thankful for 🙂
